Change a valid lead to an Invalid lead with disposition reason

The Prospect Dispositions available in Ynot are Valid, Invalid, and Rejected. Dispositions are used to indicate which prospects are billable vs non-billable. Depending on the marketing source, prospects can be returned for financial credit. For example, Pay-Per-Lead sources accept returned leads within a certain window during that leads billing period. Sources that require payment before generating inquiries do not accept returned/Invalid leads. For all sources, update the status to Inactive if the Invalid disposition is not available due to the Source or the window for accepting returns has passed.

Prospects default to Valid when entering the system. You are responsible for contacting your prospects and updating their disposition if needed. The following are some examples of Invalid prospects:

•Did Not Request Information

•Out of Area

•Do Not Call

•Not Qualified

Invalid means that your lead is not a prospect and never intended on becoming a customer. Not interested is not a reason for prospects to be dispositioned as Invalid. This simply means that the person is not interested right now but you should keep them in your queue and follow up in the future.

Update them to Inactive with a note as a future contact.

If your marketing sources post leads into Ynot, the Rejected becomes an option and must be handled by your marketing team.
